Ethiopia’s Yomif Kejelcha and Genzebe Dibaba Win the 3000m Men and Women’s Titles at World Indoor Championship

Ethiopia’s 18-year-old runner Yomif Kejelcha held on in the final lap to win the men’s 3,000 meter at the 2016 World Indoor Championships at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR. Yomif Kejelcha finished with a time of 7:57.21.

United States’ Ryan Hill made a late move and nabbed second, edging Augustine Kirpono Choge of Kenya with a time of 7:57.39. Augustine Kiprono Choge finished at 7:57.43. Here are the top-three winners results:
